Responsibilities
- Execute month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with weekend-specific transaction processing
- Analyze financial data to support strategic business decisions
- Prepare weekend-specific financial reports for executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls
- Coordinate with external auditors during weekend engagements
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification preferred
- Proven experience with weekend shift operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Detail-oriented with zero tolerance for financial discrepancies
