Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily general ledger accounting activities and financial reporting cycles.
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all financial statements.
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial reports, and other financial data.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local legal and financial requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Review and approve accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Collaborate with the tax team to prepare annual tax returns and ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial analysis principles.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and possess a valid driver's license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
