Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and trial balances with high accuracy.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and statutory reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Ensure full compliance with UK accounting standards (IFRS/UK GAAP) and HMRC regulations.
- Support the audit process by providing requested documentation and explanations.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or part-qualified with significant experience.
- Proven experience in a similar Senior Accountant or Finance Controller role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of UK tax legislation and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
