Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily general ledger accounting processes and perform month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and inter-company transactions with high accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cash flow and budget forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master’s in Accounting (MAcc) is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
