Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards and internal controls.
- Process accounts payable and receivable with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audits and tax filings.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and financial modeling.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
