Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly account reconciliations, including bank and credit card accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, for management review.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with a focus on timely and accurate payments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports and tax filings.
- Assist in the internal audit process and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general accounting or finance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
