Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and reconciled.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist with monthly and yearly financial audits and tax filings.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely collection and payment.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making by management.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting systems and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or a public accounting firm.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
