Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee daily payroll processing with our proprietary real-time payment system
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial planning
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Prepare executive dashboards and variance analysis reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Proven experience with daily pay or real-time payroll processing
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, technology-driven environments
- Nevada CPA license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audits
