As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial health, ensuring compliance, and driving strategic growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy of payroll records.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial audits and reconciliations.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
