Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger with precision.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors.
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns while supporting tax planning and compliance initiatives.
- Implement and enhance internal controls, financial policies, and accounting procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial data analysis and support business decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- CPA certification is a significant plus but not mandatory for exceptional candidates.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
