Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of all financial records and transactions.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure timely federal and state tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits and perform detailed reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger, and fixed assets.
- Provide financial analysis and forecasting to support senior management in strategic decision-making.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and implement best practices for financial reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree is preferred.
- CPA certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of internal controls, GAAP, and financial regulations.
