Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 medium-sized businesses, including month-end close and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with attention to GAAP compliance
- Lead tax preparation processes for corporate and individual clients
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations
- Mentor junior staff on accounting best practices and software proficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience in Colorado
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Intacct platforms
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Strong understanding of Colorado state tax regulations
- Proven track record in managing client relationships
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
