As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our financial reporting and strategic planning processes. Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare complex financial statements and variance analyses for executive review.
- Perform detailed reconciliations of general ledger accounts, bank statements, and inter-company transactions.
- Assist external auditors during annual audits and coordinate internal control testing.
- Manage and maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
- Support the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
