Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for all client accounts
- Coordinate with auditors and tax professionals during annual reviews
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows for efficiency
- Train junior staff on bookkeeping best practices and software usage
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Strong understanding of sales tax compliance (FL-specific)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
