Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and monthly financial statements for 15+ clients
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payroll transactions
- Prepare and file quarterly sales tax returns and annual 1099s
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Implement QuickBooks solutions for new client onboarding
- Collaborate with CPA firms during audit season
- Train junior bookkeepers on financial software best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP and Oklahoma tax regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Advanced certification (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor) preferred
- Proven track record with multi-client portfolio management
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
