Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Prepare complex financial reports, including variance analysis and budget forecasts, for executive leadership.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and local regulatory requirements.
- Perform reconciliations for general ledger accounts, bank statements, and inter-company transactions.
- Assist in external audits and tax filings by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and reduce errors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree (CPA/MBA) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
