Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and posted in a timely manner.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including variance analysis and accruals.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with cross-functional teams.
