Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end/quarter-end closes
- Prepare complex financial statements and compliance reports for multi-state entities
- Lead internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Ensure adherence to GAAP, SOX, and Texas state tax regulations
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
