Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and closing procedures.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide detailed reporting to management to support decision-making.
- Implement and maintain internal controls and financial policies to mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly desired.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
