Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare and analyze complex monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee the monthly close process, including reconciliation of bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
- Collaborate with the tax department to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Assist in the annual budget preparation and provide variance analysis to management to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during annual reviews to maintain high corporate governance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present it clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and regulatory compliance.
