Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly and annual general ledger close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and strict adherence to GAAP.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including reconciling bank statements and vendor accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and support external audit requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Identify process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
