Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist with the annual audit process and federal/state tax preparation.
- Streamline internal financial processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with the finance team to forecast budgets and track variances.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3-5 years of experience in a corporate accounting role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Candidate status is a strong plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
