Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledgers, balance sheets, and income statements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Lead audit processes and respond to financial inquiries from stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and financial reporting
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex financial data
