Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with tax specialists to ensure accurate tax filings and planning
- Develop customized financial reports and dashboards for executive decision-making
- Mentor junior accounting staff and maintain documentation of accounting policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to manage complex data sets
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
- Proven problem-solving abilities with experience in process optimization
