Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate settlements.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process, providing variance analysis and forecasting support.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or tech environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial analysis methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to stakeholders clearly.
