Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements across all financial operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements to stakeholders and management
- Lead audits and tax preparation initiatives while maintaining meticulous documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage Intaact a plus)
- Proven track record of managing complex financial reporting cycles
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for collaborating with distributed teams
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls implementation
