Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Lead GAAP-compliant financial statement preparation
- Oversee audit coordination and compliance documentation
- Develop and optimize financial modeling and forecasting systems
- Mentor junior accounting staff through structured training programs
- Streamline accounts payable/receivable workflows
- Analyze budget variances and recommend strategic adjustments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in SOX compliance and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
