Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes with 99% accuracy
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors
- Implement process improvements using NetSuite or QuickBooks
- Mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in month-end closing and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in NetSuite/QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Austin-based candidates preferred (no relocation assistance)
