Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance analysis
- Manage general ledger operations and ensure accurate month-end/year-end close
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Coordinate external audits and maintain compliance with GAAP/SEC regulations
- Develop financial models for budgeting forecasting and strategic planning
- Lead process improvement initiatives using accounting software (QuickBooks/Oracle)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and regulatory reporting
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
