We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage complex accounting operations, ensure compliance with GAAP, and support strategic financial decision-making. Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes for multiple entities
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliations
- Coordinate external audits and tax compliance documentation
- Develop financial models and forecasting reports for executive leadership
- Maintain internal controls and SOX compliance documentation
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Proficiency with GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
