Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements for internal stakeholders
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll coordination
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations across multiple states
- Develop and implement financial controls to optimize operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct audits and provide recommendations for process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep understanding of GAAP and multi-state tax regulations
- Proven experience with financial reporting and reconciliation processes
