Our client is a leading financial services provider looking for an experienced individual to manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and drive accuracy in reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger entries and ensure the accuracy of all financial records.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and ensure full compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize financial processes and reporting workflows.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to maintain integrity and security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions required), and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
