Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 clients in diverse industries
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll coordination
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and intercompany transactions
- Assist with tax compliance, audits, and financial reporting requirements
- Implement process improvements using accounting software and Excel automation
- Mentor junior staff on accounting best practices and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with small to mid-sized businesses
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit preparation
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced client service environment
