Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger accounts, and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reporting
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support management decision-making
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audit processes
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely processing
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting principles, and financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all financial tasks
