Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Prepare month-end financial statements and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Support annual audits and financial forecasting initiatives
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows
- Collaborate with CFO on strategic financial planning
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Proven track record of month-end closings
- Strong knowledge of sales/use tax compliance
- Ability to manage competing deadlines efficiently
- Professional certification (CPA/CMA) a plus
