Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements for financial statements
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and general ledger maintenance
- Collaborate with audit teams during internal and external examinations
- Develop and implement process improvements for accounting workflows
- Prepare detailed financial models and forecasting reports for executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Experience managing accounting teams or mentoring junior staff preferred
