Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Prepare tax documentation and collaborate with external auditors during annual reviews
- Implement process improvements using accounting software and automation tools
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-departmental financial training initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and ERP systems
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and reducing operational costs
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and regulatory compliance knowledge
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations and documentation
- Experience with SaaS or tech industry accounting a significant plus
