Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the annual audit process, coordinating closely with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to federal and state regulations.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide strategic financial insights to management.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and prepare journal entries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
