Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and tax requirements
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Implement and optimize internal controls for financial processes
- Prepare audit schedules and support external/internal audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work capability
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (VBA knowledge a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
- Ability to thrive in a remote environment with minimal supervision
