Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance explanations
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with reconciliations
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with tax department for quarterly filings and tax planning initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Present financial insights to executive team using advanced Excel modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proven experience managing month-end/quarter-end closing processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-departmental collaboration
- Active CPA license or actively pursuing certification
