Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for executive leadership and stakeholders
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax compliance
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks and advanced Excel modeling
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX/GAAP compliance
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-departmental financial collaboration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Proven track record in month-end closes and financial analysis
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and auditing standards
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
