Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare financial statements and executive dashboards for stakeholders
- Lead internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement process improvements using financial automation tools
- Advising on tax strategies and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in tech/startup environments
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and SOX 404 requirements
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with financial reporting for venture-backed companies
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and month-end closes
