Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 clients including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead tax preparation for individuals and businesses utilizing ProSystem FX
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Mentor junior accountants and supervise accounting operations
- Conduct audits for mid-sized companies in agriculture and healthcare sectors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated expertise in tax preparation and compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
