Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and file federal/state tax returns and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and maintain vendor/client relationships
- Develop and implement financial controls to optimize operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle)
- Deep knowledge of tax regulations (FL state/federal) and GAAP standards
- Proven experience with month-end closing processes and financial statement preparation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
