Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with multi-entity coordination
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and budget forecasting for executive leadership
- Manage audit processes and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Develop and implement streamlined accounting workflows using advanced ERP systems
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional teams on financial best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in SOX compliance and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in financial reporting
- Experience managing multi-state tax filings and payroll processing
