Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 mid-market clients across industries
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Lead month-end/year-end close processes with reconciliation accuracy
- Develop tax strategies and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Implement internal controls and process improvements
- Mentor junior staff and present financial insights to executive clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years public accounting experience with SEC reporting
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Power Query)
- Tennessee CPA license (active or pending)
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong communication and client management abilities
