Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with attention to accuracy and deadlines
- Manage general ledger accounts and ensure proper reconciliation of bank accounts
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow management
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis for department heads
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations while supporting audit processes
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Maintain organized financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proven experience in financial reporting and reconciliation
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
