Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations
- Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures with accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare detailed financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) for stakeholders
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal control protocols
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews and tax preparations
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes for strategic planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven experience in month-end close and audit preparation
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
