Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage complex multi-state tax filings and audits
- Lead month-end close processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Develop financial forecasting models and variance analysis reports
- Streamline accounting workflows using NetSuite and Excel
- Mentor junior accountants while maintaining SOX compliance
- Partner with cross-functional teams on budgeting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA required)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in multi-state tax regulations and audit procedures
- Advanced proficiency in NetSuite and Excel macros
- Proven track record of process improvement
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience with public company reporting preferred
