Responsibilities
- Manage complex multi-state general ledger operations and month-end closing processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and SOX adherence
- Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors for seamless reporting
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow optimization
- Mentor junior accountants and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of public/corporate accounting experience with Big 4 background
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX, and multi-state tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in SAP/Oracle and Microsoft Excel with Power BI
- Proven track record in audit management and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving acumen
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
